Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With assignments spanning various schools and a flexible caseload, you’ll be key to fostering positive learning environments and providing vital psychological services to school-aged children.

Key Qualifications:

• Possession of an active DOE School Psychologist certification
• Experience or knowledge in educational and psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads, with flexibility across different school assignments
• Commitment to professional and ethical standards within a school setting
• Willingness and ability to complete required fingerprinting and background checks in a timely manner

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student success
• Develop and monitor individualized education and intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Support the mental and emotional well-being of students through counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
• Maintain detailed, confidential records and complete district-required documentation
• Participate in meetings, staff training, and professional development as needed

This contract runs for the entire school year (August 5, 2026 through May 19, 2027), with the standard commitment being 35 hours weekly. For highly qualified candidates with a strong justification, the district may consider a 4-day onsite/1-day remote hybrid arrangement.
