We are responsible for constructing a page, orchestrating carousels and titles on that page and serving it to hundreds of millions of PV customers. You will work on high-scale, low-latency distributed systems that directly shape what hundreds of millions of customers see when they open Prime Video, while also building customer-facing features that make first impressions count for new viewers. You will have the opportunity to experiment with and champion AI-powered development tools and workflows to accelerate how we build, test, and operate software. You will contribute to the PV storefront architecture. You will build platform capabilities and long term solutions that will need to perform at scale. We are at the epicenter of the storefront generation and hence you will have an opportunity to collaborate with many other PV teams and influence the PV technical ecosystem.About the teamOur mission is building a highly-available, scalable and low-maintenance Content Aggregation Platform for carousels and titles that delivers the best content and high quality experience to PV customers. It’s the only platform that delivers all carousels and titles to the storefront. The platform provides customers with the best-in-class content discovery experience. We own strongly-typed orchestration contracts and a rule engine that enables all PV content owners to onboard frictionlessly, fast storefront experimentation and content delivery to the end-customers.Basic qualifications- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related fieldPreferred qualification - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
