STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Duck Creek Business Analyst on behalf of our client for a remote, long-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Duck Creek technologies and insurance business processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions and support configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define effective Duck Creek solutions.
- Support configuration of Duck Creek modules, including Policy, Billing, and Claims .
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
- Support Duck Creek templates, tools, and configuration activities.
- Collaborate with QA teams on configuration validation, testing, and defect resolution.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support troubleshooting activities.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Provide status updates, solution recommendations, and post-implementation support.
- Identify opportunities to improve insurance processes and optimize existing Duck Creek implementations.
- Provide ongoing production support and contribute to application enhancements.
- 10+ years of overall IT/business analysis experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Duck Creek technologies .
- Experience with Duck Creek Author, Policy Administration System (PAS), or related Duck Creek tools.
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows, including Policy, Billing, and Claims .
- Experience gathering requirements and creating functional specifications.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON , and configuration formats.
- Experience with insurance rating engines and system integration points.
- Experience with UAT, testing, defect management, and production support .
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience supporting end-to-end Duck Creek implementations.
- Experience with Duck Creek configuration, customization, and integration projects.
- Strong understanding of insurance technology and enterprise application environments.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed business, development, and QA teams.
