$14.00 to $15.00 per hour Commission structure: earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging $3.56 per hour above base rate. Position Summary Entry‑level, full‑time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate across national pawn store locations. Partner with store staff to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides, process sales, loans, and other transactions, and maintain an engaging environment for customers. Responsibilities Greet and interact with all customers to build rapport. Perform non‑management open/close procedures. Maintain sales floor cleanliness, stocking, and merchandise display. Conduct sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulations. Handle cash and negotiable items following established procedures. Answer incoming calls per company standards. Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Collaborate with coworkers and managers with respect and effective communication. Participate in training and complete it successfully. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Physically able to perform duties for extended periods: standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ready to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required. May assist customers outside of the building on company property. Minimum age: 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Flexibility to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
