Director of Nursing

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Management - Director or Nursing - South Brooklyn, New York (Signing Bonus and Loan Repayment Eligibility) Position Summary: We are seeking a Director of Nursing who will play an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision. The Director of Nursing provides administrative oversight of care administration in the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of Clinic Operations, in accordance with regulations|accepted practice and clinic policies and procedures. This includes personnel oversight, providing on-going Quality Improvement monitoring and ensuring current standards are met. The Director must also ensure that the skills and educational needs of the staff are met. The Director is responsible for the quality of patient care and ensures that safe patient care is provided by qualified, competent, patient care staff to all patients who present to the clinics. The Director will oversee clinic operations including schedules, staffing, quality and patient complaints. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required. Master's Degree is in nursing or closely related degree, is highly preferred. Candidate must be a licensed and registered Nurse in New York State. Previous Ambulatory care|outpatient Charge Nurse and management experience is required. Education, Licenses and|or Certifications, Experience Requirements: • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing • BSN required. Master's Degree is in nursing or closely related degree, is highly preferred • Licensed and Registered Nurse in New York State • Minimum of 3 years in a management role • Minimum of 5 years of hospital or clinic experience required The ideal candidate will also demonstrate competency in nursing practice=-es such as; directing and coordinating the delivery of nursing services, with strong analytical abilities and problem resolution skills. Knowledge of federal, state and other regulatory agencies laws and requirements.
