We specialize in precision laser welding, TIG welding, and cladding for industries including aerospace, medical, and injection molding.We repair and enhance high-value components using advanced welding technology that goes beyond traditional methods.Position OverviewWe are hiring a Laser Welder / TIG Welder for our Grand Rapids facility. This role involves precision welding, blueprint interpretation, and working with a variety of metals and components in a clean, climate-controlled environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform laser welding (YAG) and/or TIG welding on precision componentsSelect appropriate weld materials, filler metals, and processesPrepare parts by grinding, cleaning, and setupRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructionsMeasure and document dimensions and tolerancesInspect finished work to ensure quality standards are metIdentify best welding methods for each jobSupport continuous improvement in processes and workflowQualificationsExperience with laser welding, TIG welding, or similar precision welding processesAbility to read and understand technical drawings and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProblem-solving mindset and adaptabilityPrior experience in tooling, mold repair, aerospace, or medical components is a plusPhysical RequirementsLift up to 50 lbsSit for extended periodsPerform repetitive tasksPass vision screeningOvertime available as neededCompensation & BenefitsPay commensurate with experience and skill levelHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceSimple IRA with up to 3% employer matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Annual performance reviews with raise opportunitiesClean, climate-controlled work environmentWhy Join Phoenix LaserWork on high-precision, non-production welding projectsAdvanced equipment and technologyStable company with long-term growthOpportunities for advancement
