Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality blood sample collection from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring a trustful and comfortable atmosphere
• Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in their presence
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collections and patient information
• Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and adherence to safety standards
• Create a professional environment that promotes a positive image to patients and colleagues

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks

Additional Skills & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Experience working in a patient service center environment is highly preferred
• Must have own reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, to cover multiple locations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment
• Willingness to travel and work in various locations based on staffing needs
• Candidate's home city should be within a 20-25 minute commute to the worksite
