Communications Assistant

Communications Assistant Job Description Work closely with the Communications Team to develop, implement, and monitor effective content across various digital platforms. Assist with drafting and sending press releases, statements, and op-ads for the team, while maintaining our content on the website. Create social media content, which includes clipping media hits and drafting relevant posts for the team. Organize and keep track of the Team's media hits by date, ensuring all important documents, communications, and activities are recorded and easily accessible. Track and flag breaking news relevant for the organization and advocacy work. Conduct research on policies and current state of affairs that fall in our advocacy lane and keep the team up-to-date on opportunities to weigh in on. #J-18808-Ljbffr
