Hours of Work :Days Of Week :Work Shift :Job Description :Job PurposeThis position provides enterprise-level leadership in preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation activities while ensuring continuous facility readiness and system-wide compliance with CMS, TJC, and OSHA standards.Job Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Safety, or related fieldMaster’s degree in related field, preferredLicenses and/or Certifications:Certification: ICS 100-800, 300/400 (required); CEM, CBCP or equivalent, preferredValid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-campus travelWork Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of progressive emergency management or business continuity experience, preferably within healthcare or multi-facility setting.Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or regional emergency preparedness programs.Preferred training: HAZMAT, HICS, HSEEP, MCI, and FEMA CDP coursework.Methodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
