Landfill Equipment Operator III (CDL Required)

The County of Volusia is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator III for the Solid Waste Division, based at the Tomoka Landfill in Port Orange, FL. You will operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment to support daily landfill operations. A strong emphasis on safety and reliability is required, with duties including directing truck traffic, performing inspections, and routine maintenance.
