Urgent Care Physician

Providence Medical Associates has a full-time opportunity in its South Bay Urgent Care Department. Four busy, full-service locations staffed with licensed nurses, on-site x-ray capability, and point of care testing provide high acuity care for a wide range of conditions. Full-time position New graduates are welcome to apply Very desirable area Will cover Torrance and three additional sites: San Pedro, Manhattan Beach and Carson Experience in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care required Has to be comfortable seeing pediatric patients Mix of 11- and 8-hour shifts 14 to 15 shifts per month 2 to 3 weekend shifts per month Excellent Schools Partnership-Track 200 provider multi-specialty group Group is focused on wellness and work-life balance Providence Medical Associates is affiliated with Providence Medical Institute, which is a qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Compensation is between $145 and $150 per hour The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Providence Medical Associates is a 200-provider multispecialty medical group in Los Angeles serving communities in the greater South Bay, mid-Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley. PMA provides the full spectrum of integrated care with a strong base of adult primary care physicians, pediatricians and OBGYNs, a broad range of adult specialties, four urgent care centers, a hospitalist team, post-acute ambulatory and SNF care, and pharmacist and behavioral health support.
