Job Description

CycleBar Ashburn welcomes experienced leaders for General Manager opportunities through ongoing recruitment. Lead the studio. Drive the numbers. Build the community. Our General Manager owns sales, membership growth, and the team that delivers the CycleBar experience every single day.

Full time — CycleBar Ashburn

Base salary: Starting at $50,000 per year, plus commission and opportunities for performance bonuses

Location: 20020 Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Suite #119, Ashburn, VA 20147

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our General Managers are passionate about fitness and delivering a superior experience, and they prioritize driving sales and revenue. Rooted in hospitality, you build lasting relationships with prospective and current members and lead the team that fuels our energetic community.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking

• Membership sales and converting non-members to a membership base

• Managing the staff schedule and supervising the CBX team

• Coaching, training, and holding the CBX team accountable on hospitality and sales conversion

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the studio

• Planning and participating in networking, community events, and studio promotions

• Strategically managing marketing campaigns to generate studio leads

• Owning new member acquisition and existing member retention

• Setting monthly, weekly, and daily targets with the studio owner

• Driving referral business through ambassadorship

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience

• Confident generating personal sales and training sales reps in selling

• Able to manage and drive two revenue streams: memberships and retail

• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills in person, by phone, and email

• Able to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment

• Strong judgment to recognize areas of improvement and make changes

• A genuine affinity and passion for fitness

• Solid writing and grammar skills

• Highly organized and data-savvy, able to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Professional, punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented

• Trustworthy with confidential information

• Proficient with computers and studio software

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary starting at $50,000 per year plus commission, based on experience and performance

• Commission paid on sales

• Opportunity to earn bonuses based on performance
