Contract | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients and their families, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
• Continuously monitor critically ill and premature infants; manage advanced respiratory support equipment including conventional mechanical ventilation, HFJV, HFOV, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and neonatal stabilization; support procedural sedation and emergency neonatal interventions
• Administer medications, blood products, and specialized therapies including titrated medications, dopamine, and insulin infusions; care for and maintain invasive lines, PICC lines, central lines, and feeding devices
• Accurately document patient care within Epic and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
• Provide family education and support throughout hospitalization; float to Well Baby Nursery as needed based on unit staffing

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• BLS Certification required
• NRP Certification required
• Experience caring for neonates requiring intensive care services
• Proficiency with Epic EHR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Level III NICU experience
• Experience with infants admitted as early as 22 weeks gestation
• Strong neonatal assessment and critical thinking skills
• Previous travel nursing experience
