Clinical Specialist I, CPT - New Orleans, LA

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist I for its Neuromodulation business in New Orleans to provide technical and clinical support for chronic pain therapy products. The role involves assisting sales teams, building customer relationships, conducting training, and ensuring FDA compliance within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, clinical, and programming support primarily to 1-2 Territory Managers
- Build trust and relationships with customers and conduct clinical training in-services
- Perform complex programming, case support, and after-hours call support as needed
- Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and monitor competitor activity
- Conduct evaluations and develop sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field
- 1-2 years work experience, preferably in clinical settings
- Strong ability to communicate and educate on chronic pain therapy clinical data
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Capability to manage unpredictable schedules with short-notice changes
- Ability to travel 25% within and outside assigned region
