This role ensures exceptional guest service, seamless event execution, and efficient management of banquet staff. The Banquet Manager works closely with the Sales and Culinary teams to deliver high-quality events while maintaining Hilton brand standards and achieving financial goals.# **Key Responsibilities*** Oversee all banquet operations, including set-up, service, and breakdown of events* Ensure events are executed according to BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and client expectations* Maintain a high level of guest service and promptly resolve any issues or concerns* Collaborate with Sales, Catering, and Culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution* Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor costs in alignment with business needs* Train, coach, and develop banquet team members to ensure service excellence* Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details clearly to staff* Monitor inventory, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness* Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies* Assist in budget management, cost control, and achieving revenue targets# **Minimum Requirements**### **Education & Experience*** High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management preferred* 2–4 years of banquet or food & beverage leadership experience, preferably in a full-service hotel* Prior experience with Hilton brand standards preferred### **Skills & Knowledge*** Strong leadership and team management skills* Excellent communication and organizational abilities* Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment* Knowledge of banquet operations, service standards, and event logistics* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel systems (e.g., Delphi, OnQ) preferred# **Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods* Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds as needed* Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays# **Why Join Hilton Richmond Downtown**Hilton Richmond Downtown offers a dynamic work environment in the heart of the city, with opportunities for growth within HRI Hospitality and the Hilton brand.
