Job PostingBe the First to ApplyJob DescriptionRPM Industrial Coatings Group in Hudson, NC is looking for 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanics ($2 Shift Differential). $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!GENERAL SUMMARY:Perform a variety of general repairs, installations, and maintenance on facility equipment, building and utility systems. Perform general carpentry, floor repairs and general repairs of facility. Maintain record of maintenance and repairs. Make routine checks and inspections of equipment for proper lubrication and other general maintenance functions. Check out problem areas and make repairs and adjustments as needed. Refer complex situations to supervisor. Operate machines, tools, perform welding and other maintenance tasks as required.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Maintain, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment throughout facilityPerform general carpentry work and repairs to building and groundsPerform inspections of equipment and machines and make necessary repairs as directedMaintain log of maintenance performed on machinery and equipmentRespond to maintenance request items as assigned by supervisorOperate tools and equipment in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain clean and safe work environment using correct tools properlyQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
