Valuation Analyst – Real Estate Advisory Team, Financial Advisory Services Overview BakerTilly is a leading advisory, tax, and assurance firm with a global presence. The Real Estate Advisory Team in our Financial Advisory Services group works with clients on valuation and advisory of real‑estate assets and entities, building financial models and preparing deliverables for audit and reporting purposes. Responsibilities Summarize and analyze financial data, including entity, portfolio, and property‑level performance and forecasts. Conduct economic, market, and property‑level research. Work with a variety of templates that align with project objectives. Develop unique valuation models using discounted cash flow, direct capitalization, sales‑comparison, and cost‑approach methodologies. Create narrative and summary format reports for client deliverables. Demonstrate excellent teamwork, a positive attitude, and strong ethical standards. Maintain a fast‑paced, project‑based work environment while ensuring timely completion of tasks. Continue to expand knowledge base in the valuation field, meet continuing‑education requirements, and participate in professional organizations. Travel to client sites as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Relevant coursework in real‑estate or valuation (preferred). 1–3years of finance or valuation experience. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills. Exceptional client service orientation and commitment to continuous learning. High ethical awareness with a sense of urgency and commitment to quality. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent written communication skills. Availability to travel for client work. Preferred Qualifications Progress toward state‑certified real‑estate trainee license, MAI designation, ASA designation, or other valuation credentials. Completion of USPAP or other real‑estate valuation courses. Experience in real‑estate asset management, audit, or valuation. Familiarity with subscription‐based sources such as CoStar and Argus valuation software. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $75,000–$105,180. Compensation is influenced by experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package.
