Are you a licensed audiologist seeking a role focused on assessments?
Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community?
Our organization is in search of an audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Veterans will submit their claims prior to your appointment, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the session. You will administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Additionally, you will complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, which serves as the medical documentation necessary for the VA to determine the veteran’s benefits.
Please note that the audiologist will not be responsible for prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
This role typically involves reviewing and assessing an average of 3-6 Veterans each day.
Schedule: 3 consistent days per week | Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM
This is an IN-PERSON position that provides: 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes per patient. There are no evening shifts, on-call duties, weekends, or hearing aid sales involved.
Requirements:
We are looking for an audiologist who:
- Holds an Au.D. and has graduated from an ASHA-accredited institution.
- Possesses a current audiologist license.
