C++ Software Engineer

A leading global quantitative trading firm is seeking an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join its world-class technology team! In this role, you’ll design and build highly performant, fault-tolerant systems that power trading across global financial markets. The firm’s distributed architecture operates on the Pareto frontier of latency and throughput, offering a rare opportunity to apply and deepen your expertise in C++, operating system internals, CPU architecture, and networking hardware and protocols. What You’ll Work On: Develop and optimize infrastructure for market data ingestion, order entry, and execution logic across a broad range of asset classes, including options, equities, futures, crypto, and fixed income. Design and implement fault-tolerant, ultra-low-latency systems for live trading, including WAN data encoding/prioritization and resilient recovery from hardware failures. Profile, benchmark, and enhance performance-critical production code with a focus on both throughput and latency. Build and maintain core infrastructure supporting client-facing wholesale and SDP platforms, distributed network filesystems, and scalable research workflows. Develop software that interfaces with specialized trading hardware, including FPGAs and ASICs.
