Production SupervisorA manufacturing organization in Wyoming, MI is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and support manufacturing and assembly operations. This role is responsible for supervising production team members, planning and assigning work, and ensuring production goals related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong people management skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Production Supervisor Responsibilities:Supervise and lead production team members in a manufacturing and assembly environmentPlan, assign, and prioritize daily work to meet production schedules and operational goalsFoster effective employee relations through coaching, development, and performance managementMake employment-related decisions and resolve employee issues through structured problem-solvingBalance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive operational resultsDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, equipment, and working conditionsManage departmental performance metrics, including visual controls, and provide regular updates to leadershipLead department activities using a structured 30-day planning cycleConduct accident investigations and support safety initiativesManage departmental priorities and adjust as operational needs changePerform additional duties as assigned to support plant operationsSchedule & Compensation:Schedule: Full-Time, Salaried, ExemptPay: $60,000–$70,000 per year, based on experienceQualifications & Skills:Required:Associate's degree3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environmentProven leadership experience supervising hourly production employeesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to manage performance, solve problems, and drive resultsSolid time management and organizational skillsResults-driven mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
