Become a Key Player as a Quality Inspector I

You will perform routine visual and mechanical inspections to ensure components and assemblies meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will impact product safety and reliability by identifying defects, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions for the team and cross-functional stakeholders. This is an onsite, first-shift role (Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm).
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Perform routine visual inspection of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• Apply inspector process knowledge and procedures to execute standard inspection tasks
• Prepare documentation to report acceptance or rejection of inspected/tested items
• Support internal audits and corrective action follow-ups as required
• Implement and maintain technical quality assurance procedures
• Inspect wires and sensors using ring gauges, calipers, torque ranges, micrometers, and other tools
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and adapt to variable schedules, including potential nights/weekends

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• 1-2 years of relevant inspection or quality experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience using gauges, calipers, torque ranges, filler gauges, lead partitions gauges, and micrometers
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Aerospace standards such as AS9100
• Experience completing First Article Inspections (FAI) per Aerospace Standards
• Ability to follow detailed job instructions and apply systematic quality assurance approaches
• Skill measuring and using test equipment as assigned
• Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and parts lists
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

• Experience with additional inspection tools: height gauges, pin and block gauges, V-blocks, surface inspection tables, and comparators
• Experience creating First Article Inspection Reports in compliance with AS9102 and customer-specific requirements
• Experience performing internal audits and recording results
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay Range

$18.14 - $22.68/hour
