Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Construction to support construction and facility-related projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Manatí, Puerto Rico.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects involving facilities, utilities, infrastructure, construction, and site improvements, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.

Experience supporting projects within clinical, hospital, healthcare, or medical environments is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage construction and facility projects from planning through execution and closeout.

• Coordinate project activities involving facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and construction.

• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and milestones.

• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, vendors, engineering groups, and other project stakeholders.

• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to approved plans, specifications, and project requirements.

• Review project documentation, drawings, scopes of work, and contractor deliverables.

• Support project meetings, status reporting, action tracking, and issue resolution.

• Identify project risks, schedule impacts, scope changes, and potential cost issues.

• Coordinate construction activities with site operations, facilities, engineering, maintenance, quality, and other functional groups.

• Support project turnover, commissioning, startup, and closeout activities as applicable.

• Ensure compliance with applicable GMP, safety, quality, and pharmaceutical site requirements.

• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders and provide regular project status updates.

• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple project activities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and site stakeholders.

• Knowledge of construction processes, facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

• Ability to review project documentation, schedules, scopes, and technical deliverables.

• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work full-time onsite in Manatí, Puerto Rico.

• Experience in a pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, clinical, or hospital environment is preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.

• More than 4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar project management role.

• Demonstrated experience managing construction, facilities, utilities, infrastructure, or related capital projects.

• Experience working with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

• Pharmaceutical or other FDA-regulated industry experience is preferred.

• Experience with clinical facilities, hospitals, healthcare facilities, or medical environments is a plus.

• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
