As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Graniteville, SC , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate entry, exit, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required. Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
