A hospital in Montrose is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join both its Intensive Care Unit and House Float Pool teams. These night shift opportunities offer the chance to work in a collaborative healthcare environment while providing exceptional patient care across a variety of clinical settings.
Position Overview
Registered Nurses in the ICU will care for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, complex treatments, and rapid clinical decision-making. House Float RNs will support multiple departments throughout the facility, providing skilled nursing care where staffing needs are greatest. Both roles play a vital part in ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and maintaining continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in assigned units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery goals.
• Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Support a culture of patient safety, teamwork, and compassionate care.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Active Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
