This position plays an important role in promoting a safe workplace, monitoring safety performance, and helping ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGFacilitate hazard identification and safety risk analysisMonitor the effectiveness of safety risk controlsEnsure safety is promoted throughout the organization as required by the SMS programRegularly report to the SMS Manager and Accountable Executive on the performance of the SMS programCoordinate the development and implementation of company safety programsEnsure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, organizational standards, safety requirements, and company policiesInvestigate and report incidents and accidents to determine root causes and corrective actionsCoordinate the development and implementation of Company Safety ProgramsResponsible for the development and revision of training programs and materials related to safety, security, and emergency responseProcess and serve as a gatekeeper for all safety reportsMaintain a safety reporting and analysis systemInspect, audit, and measure safety performanceEnsure all accidents and incidents are investigated in a timely manner and corrective actions are implemented as neededEnsure safety audits and inspections are conducted as specified by the safety programEvaluate employee feedback regarding hazard identification, safety improvements, and appropriate recommendationsRoutinely make observations of work areas to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditionsReport to management on company activities that may have an impact on safetyCoordinate with the Facilities Manager on Emergency Response ExercisesRepresent the company with government agencies and professional associations regarding safety and environmental mattersCoordinate all safety training and ensure applicable employees are properly trainedEnsure the development and implementation of appropriate occupational safety programs to prevent or control unsafe environmental working conditions and reduce the frequency of work-related accidents and injuriesMonitor industry safety concerns that may have an impact on Xtreme Aviation activitiesPerform safety audits and safety performance evaluationsPromote SMS bulletins, communications, and other safety awareness materialsPerform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Safety #J-18808-Ljbffr XTREME AVIATION LLC
