Position The Inventory Control Coordinator supports the production of parts by replenishing departments plant wide and ensuring production workers have needed materials to maintain the flow of work without interruptions. What you will do: Utilizing 5S principles, assist in maintaining departmental flow and cleanliness. Ensure the right parts are being received, shipped, and produced based on the production schedule. Usingmobile carts, retrieve components and materials, kit those based on work instructions, and match the job number to kits; put required kits and material on to carts and move to the appropriate areas. Update part completion in the computer. May package parts and may place parts in an oven area or warm room. Keep the production operators at their workstations by maintaining general supplies on carts. Communicate with operators in other departments to obtain and deliver supplies and materials. What you will need to be successful: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community. Ability to comprehend written instructions and follow demonstrated steps. Basic math skills. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. One year of directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in warehousing a plus. Working Conditions While performing the typical duties of this job, employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels Exposure to hazardous equipment Exposure to contaminants Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled Shared workspaces with other employees Requires handling objects of up to 30 lbs. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime) Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Required PPE provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure. Below are typical PPE used on the production floor. Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
