A well-established Temecula company that supports construction subcontractors is hiring an AR Specialist. It's a lean team that reports directly to the Controller, and leadership is open to new ideas, even about processes they've used for years.

The role is mostly AR with AP backup. It suits someone who checks their work, asks good questions, and stays steady when priorities change.

What you'll own

• Prepare weekly invoices for 25+ customers, many of them with multiple line items totaling over $100M
• Process chargebacks and prepare preliminary notices. Lien release training is provided
• Send initial collection emails, with the Controller handling follow-up
• Back up AP: 3-way match, batch, and code invoices to equipment classes and GL accounts, and cut about 10 manual checks a week

What you bring

• Entry- to mid-level AR experience, with accuracy at volume
• Construction or prelim experience is a plus, but any industry is welcome
• Detail-oriented and willing to learn. You ask questions and you bring ideas
• You take direction without frustration, adapt when priorities change, and show up on time every day
• Basic Excel for data entry. No degree or certification required
