Pediatric Dietitian

The Pediatric Dietitian will provide specialized nutritional care to pediatric patients in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, ensuring optimal health outcomes through comprehensive dietary assessments and tailored nutrition plans. This role requires recent pediatric experience and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the nutritional needs of pediatric patients through detailed examinations and medical history reviews.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans aligned with clinical standards and patient requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate dietary interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on proper nutrition practices and dietary adjustments.
• Document all assessments, care plans, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Comply with hospital policies, including travel and holiday requirements, to maintain high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license issued by the state or a compact license following NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric experience; 3+ years preferred.
• At least one prior travel assignment in pediatric healthcare.
• BLS certification required; renewal plans must be documented if expiring during assignment.
• Must include a valid driver's license with submission and meet all Tier 2 travel compliance requirements.
• Ability to work M-F, 7:30 am 4:00 pm, with flexibility as needed.
