VMI Specialist

We're growing rapidly and looking for a driven VMI Specialist who wants to own the customer experience from the inside out. TCH Industries is a specialty hose and industrial distribution company in Northeast Ohio, built around one core belief: We Save the Day. When our customers' operations are at risk, we show up-fast, accurate, and reliable. ABOUT THE ROLE This is not a counting job. This is a customer retention engine. As our VMI Specialist, you will be the face of TCH Industries at our customers' facilities-managing their hose and industrial supply inventory so their operations never skip a beat. You'll own the full cycle: site visits, stock counts, replenishment coordination, relationship building, and continuous improvement. You'll be trusted with something that matters. WHAT YOU'LL DO Conduct scheduled inventory counts at assigned customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio Monitor stock levels against agreed min/max thresholds and trigger replenishment before issues arise Reconcile system vs. physical inventory and resolve discrepancies quickly Build trusted, professional relationships with customer contacts - you are their go-to person Coordinate with our Operations and Sales teams to ensure customers get what they need, when they need it Track KPIs, document visits, and report activity in our ERP (TrulinX) Proactively identify upsell and service improvement opportunities for TCH and our customers WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 2+ years in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or field service Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline Clear communicator - written, verbal, and relational Self-starter who thrives working independently PREFERRED / BONUS VMI, supply chain, or manufacturing experience Familiarity with industrial distribution or hose products Experience with ERP/inventory management systems Track record of owning outcomes, not just tasks WHY TCH INDUSTRIES We Save the Day - That's not a tagline, it's who we are.
