Houseperson Overview As a Housekeeping Houseperson with Waterford Hotel Group, you will have the opportunity to create a clean and inviting lobby and public area for the arrival of our guests. A housekeeping house person is a very important role within the hotel wearing many hats and delivering excellent customer service with a smile. Responsibilities Greeting guests and responding to queries. Sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuuming carpets. Dusting and polishing furniture. Emptying trash containers. Restock and clean housekeeping closets. Cleaning public areas, such as corridors. Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs. Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at shift end. Job Requirements A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills. Pleasant and friendly demeanor. Able to work as a team and independently. Flexible working hours. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Physical mobility and stamina. Must be able to pass a background check. Ability to follow instructions.
