Club Rewind - Program Leader - Fall 2026 Cypress‑Fairbanks Independent School District | Community Programs | Club Rewind – Cypress, Texas. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred; or enrolled in a high school program with the ability to be present during program hours (must be age 16 or older). Experience working with children preferred. Ability to supervise children at all times to ensure safety. Ability to follow, implement, and lead planned activities. Proficient in verbal and written communication with staff and children. Basic computer skills preferred. English language proficiency. Sound judgment and common sense to carry out essential functions. Terms of Employment 174 days. Salary / Paygrade $15.15 per hour – HS4. Essential Functions Serve as a positive role model. Act as a program ambassador to promote the program within the district, school, and community. Engage children in games and learning activities according to the program schedule. Lead and supervise a group of children. Stay alert to children’s needs and concerns. Keep accurate count of participants to ensure safety. Adhere to program standards, procedures, and expectations outlined in district and program handbooks and staff training. Provide customer service support to children, CFISD staff, and community members. Appropriately utilize and account for resources. Use Club Rewind documentation to communicate with parents and record occurrences for the main office. Maintain consistent communication with the program manager regarding concerns and incidents. Support the implementation of safety drills and procedures. Validate all visitors and maintain a secure environment. Use positive behavior strategies and maintain professionalism. Attend required trainings and meetings scheduled by Community Programs. Accept constructive feedback and reflect on job performance. Maintain reliable attendance. Perform any duties deemed necessary by supervisor or coordinator. Working Conditions Stand, walk, talk, and listen regularly. Frequent light lifting (under 15 lbs) and occasional moderate lifting (15‑44 lbs). Indoor and outdoor environments. Early morning and/or afternoon/evening hours (split shift). Report to any campus assignment as directed.
