Production Supervisor

Job Description Monitors and controls manufacturing processes to ensure product compliance with customer requirements. Direct supervisor of the Production Department personnel. Supervise entire plant operations during non-business times, including Production, Maintenance, Shipping, and Laboratory areas. Support management of feedstock inventories, employee training, and the plant quality system. Conduct plant inspections to reduce unit downtime and improve efficiencies. Process monitoring—inspect all process equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency. Process work instructions and reports—implement all work instructions and complete all necessary reporting. Process equipment operation—monitor and direct safe and proper equipment operation. Ensure implementation of all Production Department and Plant policies. Off‑spec reprocessing—process and handle off‑spec material, rerun, and prevent contamination of storage tanks. Process control—ensure product compliance with customer requirements. Direct production unit shutdowns and startups. Supervise product loading and oil unloading activities during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Conduct weekly safety meetings, correct unsafe conditions, and implement all safety policies. Observe and mitigate fugitive emissions related events or conditions. Perform housekeeping to maintain plant facilities in a safe and orderly condition. Characteristics High energy level, self‑motivating, team player, with an excellent work ethic. Strong supervisory skills with ability to manage people and situations effectively. Self‑confident and secure to identify and correct problems through good troubleshooting techniques. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. One to two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Effective PC and PC‑application software skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
