Assistant Managers support the Store Manager and other team members in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. Responsibilities Manage the store team’s Guest Service behaviors, providing coaching to ensure guests are greeted warmly and their needs are met. Support the Store Manager in building and developing a strong team through training, scheduling, coaching, and fostering engagement aligned with company values. Partner with the Store Manager to achieve operational excellence, sales objectives, and store controls. Assist in maintaining the store's appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards, including the coffee station, food service area, and restrooms. Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure 100% in-stock rate. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or during SM’s absence. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. At least 1 year retail or food service experience, with completion of Assistant Manager Training. Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in retail, guest service, or restaurant leadership. ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory. Skills & Soft Skills Comfortable interacting with guests and team members. High energy and adaptability. Team-oriented with willingness to help others. Basic computer skills helpful. Work Conditions Primarily second shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time, up to 40 hours per week. Travel 5-10% for store coverage and meetings; must have own vehicle for deposits. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for 8 hours.
