Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse committed to providing exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate should have critical care experience, along with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. The role requires excellent communication skills and cooperation with the interdepartmental team.

Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts and assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement.
• Conduct skin assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions preoperatively.
• Assist with patient transportation to the operating room, including positioning and skin prep.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Previous CVOR experience mandatory
• Critical care experience required; PreOp experience preferred
