The Retention Marketing Assistant Manager will evolve Beyond Yoga's RCS/SMS marketing program. You will support broader retention and lifecycle marketing plans across email, mobile, loyalty, and customer journey programs. Reporting to the Director, Retention Marketing, you will manage the execution, optimization, and performance of the RCS/SMS program. You are a data-driven marketer who can identify growth opportunities, develop testing strategies, and translate insights into actions that improve customer engagement, retention, and revenue. You are someone who can use data to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, customer experience, and long-term retention. This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Culver City, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on our needs. RCS/SMS Channel Ownership & Lifecycle Marketing Oversee the daily management and growth of Beyond Yoga's RCS/SMS program, including channel strategy, campaign planning, execution, testing, optimization, and performance. Build, QA, schedule, and deploy SMS campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys in Klaviyo, ensuring accurate execution and understanding of priorities. Improve subscriber growth through acquisition plans, including website forms, pop-ups, preference centers, lead capture experiences, and promotional campaigns. Manage the RCS/SMS calendar and partner with merchandising, ecommerce, and marketing teams to align campaigns with product launches, inventory availability, promotional events, and customer lifecycle moments. Develop a testing roadmap across segmentation, personalization, messaging, timing, offers, and customer journeys, using insights to improve engagement, retention, and revenue. Monitor subscriber health, deliverability, consent compliance, and overall program performance, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and channel effectiveness. Support email marketing projects, including campaign setup, QA, deployment, testing, lifecycle journeys, and creative reviews. Analytics & Optimization Build recurring SMS reporting and contribute to broader retention reporting across email, lifecycle, loyalty, and mobile programs. Analyze campaign, audience, creative, and customer performance to identify applicable insights, testing opportunities, and channel optimizations. Use GA4, Looker Studio, Klaviyo, Shopify, Excel, and other reporting tools to evaluate customer behavior and marketing performance. Present performance insights to retention, merchandising, ecommerce, creative, and leadership teams. Use AI and latest technologies to improve reporting, workflow efficiency, campaign performance, and customer insights. Partnership & Program Development Partner with Creative, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Retail, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to implement retention marketing projects and support our priorities. Develop creative briefs and give feedback on messaging, audience strategy, customer journeys, and campaign goals. Review campaign creative and provide recommendations based on our goals, customer insights, and channel best practices. Support geo-targeted, retail, loyalty, community, product launch, and customer review plans across retention channels. Stay current on SMS, RCS, lifecycle, loyalty, personalization, ecommerce, and retention marketing trends, bringing forward new ideas, tools, and opportunities to improve performance. About You Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience. 4+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, email, SMS, mobile, ecommerce marketing, or related digital marketing roles. Experience building or managing an SMS, mobile, lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing program. Experience using Klaviyo or a similar email/SMS marketing platform, with interest in latest channels such as RCS. Experience with lifecycle marketing, retention strategy, segmentation, personalization, automation, customer journeys, and customer engagement. Ability to interpret campaign, channel, and customer data and turn insights into applicable recommendations. Experience with GA4, Looker Studio, Klaviyo reporting, Shopify analytics, Excel or Google Sheets, or similar analytics and dashboarding tools. Experience building, QAing, testing, deploying, analyzing, and optimizing email, SMS, mobile, and lifecycle campaigns. Prioritize competing needs, and recommend solutions with limited daily direction. Ability to understand how campaign decisions impact customer experience, revenue, engagement, retention, inventory, and brand trust. Experience collaborating with creative, merchandising, ecommerce, retail, customer experience, technology, vendor, and leadership teams. Experience managing marketing technology vendors, platform partners, or third-party tools. Experience with Shopify, Yotpo, Asana, Excel or Google Sheets, Looker Studio, GA4, Klaviyo, and other ecommerce marketing platforms. Experience using AI tools to improve content development, campaign execution, workflow automation, reporting, and performance optimization. Compensation & Benefits The expected starting salary range for this role is $80,000 - $116,000 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
