Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized obstetric care within a designated Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role includes caring for laboring patients, postpartum, and newborn care, with a focus on fetal monitoring and managing delivery processes.

• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM). Must have 1 year of experience in obstetric nursing. No minimum experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred), Alaris infusion pumps, and Pyxis medication system.
• Schedule: Night shifts, weekend rotation once per month, up to 7 days of approved time off. No mandatory call, but voluntary call is acceptable. Orientation scheduled for 1-3 shifts based on comfort.
• Additional Information: Unit operates with a charge nurse who may have an assignment; obstetrician and anesthesia on call 24/7; fetal monitoring without telemetry tech; no floating outside of Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) areas. Scrub color provided by the facility; parking is free.
