Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll provide essential services across primary and elementary campuses, collaborating with students, staff, and families to ensure every child’s communication needs are understood and addressed.
In this contract assignment, you will maintain a 40-hour workweek at one or more campus locations in the area. Rather than direct therapy provision, your focus will be on high-impact responsibilities that advance student success and team effectiveness.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience highly preferred
- Strong ability to supervise and guide licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Proficient in leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise SLPA staff to promote effective service delivery
- Complete detailed speech-language assessments and develop corresponding documentation
- Facilitate ARD meetings, providing essential expertise to guide student support plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align services with student goals
- Engage professionally with school staff, parents, and related service providers
