Dental assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients by supporting the dentist during procedures, ensuring the office runs smoothly, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Dental assistant

- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, providing necessary tools and materials.

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, ensuring they are ready for use.

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with safety protocols.

- Prepare and maintain patient charts, updating medical histories, and documenting procedures performed.

- Provide patient education and assist with post-treatment care instructions.

- Set up and clean treatment rooms before and after patient visits.

- Assist with patient comfort during procedures, ensuring they are at ease.

- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order replacements as needed.

- Schedule patient appointments and confirm upcoming visits.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office and equipment, following infection control and safety standards.

- Provide administrative support, such as answering phones and processing patient information, when needed.

- Assist in other duties as directed by the dentist or office manager.

part-time $22 - $28 per hour
