Shipping & Receiving Clerk | Giles Nissan Lafayette, LA | Full-Time | Starting Pay-$13/hr At Giles Nissan, we have developed a very successful parts and service tea, and to help us keep up with the high demands, we are looking to add a bright, driven, and detail-oriented individual! If you have experience in parts or have been looking to start a career in the automotive industry, this Shipping and Receiving position is a great entry-level role to get you started. Compensation and Benefits: Money of course: This is an entry-level position that starts at $13 an hour Management & Support: Superiorsupport from our great award-winning team of management and departmentalstaff. We are looking for someone that takes pride in their work to help the people in Acadiana keep their cars on the road. You don't need experience in automotive parts. The ideal person would be organized ambitious person that connects with others easily,desires meaningful work, and is hardworking. We are looking for some simple qualifications such as: High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred) Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment Strong interpersonal and time management skills Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents Phone Skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Holds oneself to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and sincerity Has a continuous drive for excellence and self-improvement Takes full responsibility and is dependable in/for area of influence A professional team-player that deeply respects others Possesses a strong desire to serve our community, our customers and each other What will you do? Oversee the parts shipping and receiving process Keeping and managing inventory controls Organizing and cleaning parts area Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status. Keep track of quality control returns must have excellent record keeping abilities Checking in larger items that may expose you to the weather elements managing monthly returns and core credits Perform daily bin counts and stock checks Detail oriented is a must Who is Giles Automotive?
