Registered Nurse- Emergency Department Float

Full-Time RN for Emergency Department Float Pool

We are hiring a full-time RN for our Emergency Department Float Pool. This is a night shift position that will float between all four main hospital locations (Lee's Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, Plaza), three community hospitals (Legends, Leawood, Roeland Park), and four critical access hospital locations (Chillicothe & Trenton in MO and Anderson & Allen in KS).

Our teams have unit-based leadership teams and are supportive and collaborative on one another. We believe in creating teams that are kind, professional and treat each other as they would a patient. This is key to being successful in this position. These teams work with innovative processes and technologies. We continue to expand our robotics programs.

*Float Incentive Pay*

Shift: Full Time Nights, 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
• Delegates tasks appropriately.
• Identifies hospital resources.
• Serves as a clinical resource for new employees.
• Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.

Job Requirements:

Applicable Experience: 2 years Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Associate Degree
