Freight Forwarder - Air Export

Overview DSV - Global transport and logistics The role focuses on managing the export of goods by air, including documentation, scheduling, and communication with customers and third-party service providers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and management of movement through transportation channels Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on status Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns or issues Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure timely and efficient service delivery Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs and trade regulations All other duties as assigned Educational Background / Work Experience Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable Skills & Competencies Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic calculations for costs and rates Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations Understanding of trade laws and regulations Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is preferred Compensation & Benefits The expected base pay range is $21.00 - $24.75 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors and applicable laws. Benefits offerings and eligibility vary by location and division.
