Therapy Adoption Specialist

The Therapy Adoption Specialist (TAS) is a hybrid clinical-commercial role that begins with an intensive clinical training period — during which the TAS functions much like a Clinical Specialist, providing in-procedure case coverage and technical product support — and evolves into a business development role focused on growing BlueWind Medical's footprint within assigned accounts. Once clinically proficient, the TAS shifts emphasis toward building relationships with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), office staff, and administrative decision-makers to drive account penetration, case volume, and long-term account loyalty. The TAS reports to, and works in close partnership with, the Territory Manager to execute the territory's overall growth strategy. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and office/administrative staff at assigned accounts. Identify opportunities to expand case volume, product utilization, and share of wallet within existing accounts. Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for account staff, addressing scheduling, ordering, and workflow needs that support smoother case throughput. Partner with the Territory Manager to develop and execute account-level growth plans, including identifying new physician users within existing accounts. Support office staff with in-servicing on ordering processes, reimbursement resources, and administrative workflows related to BlueWind Medical products. Gather and relay account intelligence (competitive activity, staffing changes, growth opportunities) to the Territory Manager and broader sales team. Provide in-procedure technical and clinical support for BlueWind Medical products, functioning as a Clinical Specialist during the training period and as coverage capacity requires. Complete all required clinical, technical, and product training curricula, including hands-on proctoring and case observation, to reach independent case-coverage certification. Support physicians and clinical staff intraoperatively, ensuring proper device setup, troubleshooting, and adherence to procedural best practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product indications, contraindications, and competitive positioning. Document case activity, coverage metrics, and clinical feedback in accordance with company and compliance requirements. Qualifications Required 2 years of experience in a clinical, medical device, B2B, or healthcare-related role. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated track record of relationship management or account growth Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to learn and speak confidently to complex technical product information. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and area, including early morning and on-call case coverage. Valid driver's license and ability to be credentialed for hospital/facility access (e.g., vendor credentialing, vaccination requirements).
