Accounts Receivable Clerk (Temporary Assignment)

Location: Metairie, LA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Assignment Duration: Through September (with potential for extension)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting with invoicing, payment tracking, and general accounts receivable functions while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Process and monitor customer invoices and payments
Maintain accurate accounts receivable records
Assist with account reconciliations and payment follow-up
Enter and update data within QuickBooks and internal dispatch/invoicing systems
Generate reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
Support the accounting and administrative team with additional duties as needed
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Ability to learn new software systems and processes quickly
Excellent data entry and recordkeeping skills
Prior accounts receivable or accounting experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
