Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Systems & Architecture)

Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to drive software architecture across a diverse portfolio of embedded and connected products. This role blends system-level design, hands-on development with real hardware, and technical leadership within a growing engineering organization.
\n \nArchitecture & Technical Leadership

- Lead evolution of software architecture across embedded and connected systems \n
- Balance near-term delivery with long-term scalability, maintainability, and reliability \n
- Drive design reviews, technical standards, and cross-team architectural alignment \n
Hands-On Development & System Debugging
\n- \n
- Design, build, and debug software for embedded controllers, industrial systems, and HMIs \n
- Work directly with hardware, including custom embedded systems and industrial controllers \n
- Diagnose complex system-level issues spanning software, firmware, hardware, and real-world conditions \n
Testing & Quality Engineering
\n- \n
- Elevate automated testing practices across teams \n
- Design unit and integration testing strategies for embedded and application layers \n
- Lead development of automated test systems to improve coverage, reliability, and release velocity \n
Mentorship & Engineering Culture
\n- \n
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical coaching \n
- Promote strong engineering fundamentals and pragmatic problem-solving \n
- Help build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement \n
Cross-Functional Collaboration
\n- \n
- Contribute as a senior member of a Scrum team spanning multiple product lines \n
- Partner with hardware, firmware, systems, and application engineers \n
- Manage competing priorities and context switching while maintaining high standards \n
AI & Engineering Productivity
\n- \n
- Help define and implement responsible use of AI in engineering workflows and products \n
- Establish practical use cases, guardrails, and best practices \n
