Kitting Cell Technician

Your role

As a Kitting Cell Technician, you will be part of a team dedicated to excellence in systems and component assembly. Using engineered drawings, work instructions, and SOPs the expectation is to deliver top quality results. While in this position you'll develop your technical expertise while working within a safe, supportive, and innovative environment.


You will:
• Assemble mechanical systems and components from engineered drawings and routings.
• Effectively use hand and small power tools for mechanical assemblies.
• Perform required testing following trained procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues with testing instruments and equipment.
• Provide the level of quality expected from our customers, both internal and external.
• Participate in training programs enabling skills development such as fork truck operation and ERP system data entry.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Maintain punctual, regular, predictable attendance, work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully take direction from lead/manager.
• Adheres to and follows all safety protocols and processes.
• Maintains clean, organized workstation.

To succeed, you will need

Education level:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge areas/Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with mechanical component construction and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, diagrams and measuring tools.
• Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
• A positive and proactive attitude that embraces continuous learning and collaboration.
• Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of ERP and inventory systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate in an effective, respectful manner

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our facility in Sanborn, NY. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000


Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
