Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Viera Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions utilizing various modalities to address specific patient needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat a diverse caseload, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and facilitate understanding of their conditions.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients, maximizing rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes, staying compliant with all regulatory and insurance guidelines.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and advance treatment methodologies.
• Contribute to the clinic’s outreach efforts and community wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Viera Physical Therapy, you will encounter a diverse range of patients including children with developmental challenges, athletes recovering from sports injuries, patients recovering from surgical procedures, and individuals with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a physical therapist.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing and electronic medical record systems.
• A track record of establishing effective relationships with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• A passion for engaging with individuals and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates with:

• Experience in a variety of rehabilitation settings.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflecting your experience and expertise. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
