Registered Nurse (RN) - Hiring Now

Position Overview Registered Nurse RN Cardiac Care at Research Medical Center. Cardiac telemetry nurses assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergency situations. They work with patients recovering from open heart surgeries, heart catheterization with stent placement, ablations, pacemaker/AICD placement, and other cardiovascular procedures. The unit is a 29‑bed cardiac progressive care area, one of few hospitals that provides TAVR outside ICU. Responsibilities Assess acute changes and monitor heart rhythm of patients. Interpret ECGs and identify arrhythmias. Intervene in emergency situations. Provide high‑level critical thinking and clinical knowledge. Maintain calm under pressure and collaborate closely with cardiology providers. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) current license. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Experience in cardiac telemetry, cardiac surgery recovery, or related clinical settings preferred.
