Salary: $143,400 - 143,400 per year Requirements:

• We require 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• We require 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• We require 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role.
• We require 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• We require 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
• We require a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• We require programming experience with at least one software language.
• Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Preferred: bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent background.

• We design and build the next generation of S3 Index systems.
• We develop software that manages the durability and availability of key-value metadata.
• We solve complex computer science challenges for systems operating at very large scale.
• We create software that handles highly variable access patterns and exceptional customer demand.
• We contribute to a highly available, worldwide 24/7 service and participate in an on-call rotation to resolve issues.
• We follow strong test automation, verification, design review, and code review practices to meet our reliability standards.
• We collaborate with peer buddies, mentors, and other engineers to quickly learn our technology, tools, and business problems.
• We build reliable, scalable, and flexible web services with a customer-focused mindset.
