Leak Detection Technician Specialist Sawgrass Leak Detection | Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Sawgrass Leak Detection is growing across Northeast Florida, and we’re looking for an experienced technician to operate our next service truck. This position offers a genuine opportunity to advance into a Field Operations Lead role as we expand our team and fleet.

What You’ll Do

• Perform non-invasive leak detection using acoustic equipment, thermal imaging, tracer gas, pressure testing, and other diagnostic methods
• Accurately locate water, slab, pool, spa, irrigation, and underground pipe leaks
• Diagnose leaks with precision while minimizing unnecessary damage or disruption
• Document findings through clear photographs, field notes, and client-ready reports
• Explain testing results and recommended next steps directly to customers
• Coordinate with plumbing, pool, and construction professionals when repairs are needed
• Maintain, calibrate, and properly care for diagnostic equipment
• Follow company procedures and safety standards on every job
• Work independently while representing Sawgrass professionally in customers’ homes and businesses

What You Bring

• Professional experience in leak detection, plumbing, pool service, irrigation, construction, or a related trade
• Familiarity with acoustic equipment, thermal imaging, pressure testing, or similar diagnostic tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills and sharp attention to detail
• Clear, professional customer communication
• Ability to document findings accurately and use mobile field-service technology
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in crawl spaces, mechanical areas, pool decks, commercial properties, and outdoor environments
