Rooted in our mission—" to empower young adults to identify and use their God-given gifts to learn, worship, and serve, guided by Catholic tradition"—we are preparing students not just for college and careers, but for lives of purpose and leadership.**Essential Job Functions:*** Understand and witness the school and diocesan mission.* Teach and co-teach courses by implementing the curriculum in accordance with the standards set forth by the Diocese of Cleveland and the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.* Assist students with progress toward IEP and SP goals.* Utilize a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.* Create a classroom and school environment that enables students to reach their full potential.* Use student data to inform instructional decisions.* Integrate technology to improve student learning.* Commit to continually improving instructional practice.* Work collaboratively with students and coworkers.* Communicate proactively and professionally with parents.* Adhere to school and diocesan policies and procedures.* Attend school functions as determined by the Principal.**Qualifications:*** Commitment to the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church and to best practices in Catholic education.* Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive, or Related Field (Master’s preferred)* Current Ohio teaching license or willingness to obtain teaching certification* Energy and enthusiasm for working with and developing students for success in high school and beyond* Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education* Successful BCI and FBI background checks and VIRTUS certified or willing to be certified.***To Apply:******Candidates choosing to apply should submit a cover letter, resume, and completed Diocesan Employment Application to View email address on click.appcast.io.
